Wot? No Posts?

I am so surprised that this one has not been hit to overflowing.

What systems & Software are our readers using, and why?
I will get the ball rolling in the morning before the days clients turn up....

Sorry to have been absent for so long!!
I have been soo busy with DVD-A/V hybrids - they are a total bitch to get right, but I think we have finally got there.

Will now be able to spend some more time helping out again, so yes- the ball is now definitely rolling again.
Hurrah!

What gear do we use!

Hi there!
In the studio we use h/p multi media computers with pentium 4
We have motu 24 i/o sound cards
mx 9000 berinhger mixing boards
Alto equalizers
Alto stereo sound enhancement processors
Alto multi channel compressors
beringher feedback suppressor
zoom studio 1201 multi effects pro
Yamaha p2500s amps
Sansui amps G6000 and G5000 (awesome stereo amps)
DBX expander
alto 6 channel with 12 outs for headphones
Zoom RFX 2000 processor
Fostex 18 channel ins/out with reel

as for programs

I've used most of them on the market and I found that for myself I prefer

Magix music studio 2005 deluxe and Samplitude.I've had very good support from them when in times of trouble.

Our studio is located in northern ontario canada so it hard to get help here in town.A lot of my gear has been bought through the net(E-bay) no problems yet.

Check out our web site which is about to be revamped soon!

bye for now!

Mike
