The IHRD under Govt. of Kerala has started a new Post Graduate Diploma in Audio Engineering (PGDAE) for audio engineering aspirants in India. The course is of 2 semester duration to be started in July 2010 at the College of applied Science, Vadakkencherry, Palakkad, Kerala, India. It is good practice to not store tape next to any magnets or demagnetizer. Usually an enclosed magnet (like in an amp or in a speaker) will not have any undue results, but if something does happen where the magnet is exposed and the tape is close buy, you will have some faulty recordings.

Tape will last a long time (longer than you ) if stored properly.
