Pro tools HD

Whats going on guys? Im new here, and I hope Im in the right section. I have Pro Tools LE and have been debating on whether or not I should upgrade me audio interface or just save up for Pro Tools HD. Im looking for that crisp sound and I cant seem to get it with my set up I have now. I would love some feedback and/or advice from you guys. Thanks.

The hardware needs to be upgraded first. Protools LE and Protools HD have the same audio engine.

Hi I use PT LE8 with a Digi 002. The sound of the 002 is pretty woolly so rather than spend big bucks on upgrading everything to a HD setup, I added a RME Fireface 400 into the chain. I contected it by firewire to the 002 and use it as my primary audio interface. That means I'm basically just using the 002 as a dongle to get Pro Tools to run. The sound I get is on par with a PT HD set up but infinitely cheaper icon_smile.gif
