I recently purchased an old Altec Lansing 1220A for 30 dollars. Most of the console is shot, but the VU meters, pre-amps, and bus compressor still work. So I was considering removing these parts and rack mounting them to give my studio some odd ball choices when tracking. Any ideas or suggestions? Has anyone every even heard of this thing?
