Mono or Stereo???

Hi there,
one of my friend was setting up sounds in his church and all they had were two speakers, one amp and a small 8 channel mixer. when it came to the connectivity between the mixer and the amp, there were two channels 1) left (mono) and 2) right. The question was whether to use a mono jack to jack cable or stereo cable from both L+R.?? If you know more on this plz comment.. thank you..

Use two cables to run the stereo signal. You will most likely not need stereo for the worship or service, but maybe for videos or CDs. If the mixer and amp has the capability, run XLR or TRS cables. The balanced cable will help reduce interfering noise from the sound box to the stage.
