 Help!!! M-Audio Firewire or Fast Track?????

Hoping this is in the right section... if not, please tell me where to re-post...

Running AKG mics to a Behringer Tube Ultragain T1953 preamp.

I need an interface to connect to my iMac...

I want to go M-Audio, but I'm not sure the difference between any of the Fast Tracks (Pro/Ultra) and the FireWire...

Can someone explain the difference? Which is better? Which will produce better sound? Please help me as I'm new to all of this.
