I've been looking for some less expensive drum overhead mics recently and have been drawn to the Oktava mk-012's. I'm aware of the "fake" chinese mc-012. I'm also aware that I should buy them from a dealer that'll match them for me. So I'm searching online and I see that people are buying pairs for $150-$300, but they never say where they're buying them from I can't find any place that sells them other than Soundroom (oktava.com) for $500!! Please if anyone knows where to get real matched pairs for less than $500 please help me. Or if you have any more recommendations on other overheads that would work.

I was interested in these too, until i saw the price tag. only place i know of to get them is soundroom. but i have seen used ones on ebay, just an fyi
