Condenser microphones for acoustic guitar and vocals
I’m looking to buy 2 condenser microphones for stereo miking an acoustic guitar and recording vocals. I’ve been using 2 superlux ECOH6A for demos but want something a lot better. The trouble I’m having is that there are so many microphones to choose from.
I know there are certain brands and microphones that have reputations but how do you work out what’s best for you? I’m looking to spend between £100 and £150 on each microphone. I thought I’d ask around and get opinions from people to help me in my hunt.

I have two AT4040 s, which I love and use on everything. They work great for vocals and for stereo micing. It is my goto microphone for recording vocals. It works just as well for recording the acoustic guitar.
good luck!

+1 on the at4040
Personally I would get some akg pencil condensers and a tube pre amp for a warmer sound
