Need Help with Yamaha 01V mixer

I have this Yamaha Mixer 01v that I have installed a MY8-AT digital card. They tell me that in order to send 8 tracks to digidesign pro tools I have to bus out 4 tracks and aux send 4 tracks. Can anyone explain in very very simple terms how to do this? I need a step by step instructions. Thank you for your time.

That my8-at card will give you 8 digital outputs via ADAT optical.

Sorry I can't give you step-by-step instuctions, I haven't used that board, and I haven't used protools in forever.

back in da days, i had one, which i was gonna get rid of, because it got too complicated, and well, it got stolen.

anyways, with the adat card, you should be able to send 8 tracks thru the lightpipe, shouldnt you? so if your sound card accepts adat lightpipe (which i suppose it does since you bought the adat/lightpipe card for the 01v), if not, i know you have 4 omni outs in the back of the board, so i dont see how you could send more than 4 channels at once. anyhow, if i find out more, i'll be sure to let u know
