Patchbay has 2 different cables?

 Patchbay has 2 different cables?

I just want to know if ina patchbay exist 2 kinds of cables.
The cables that i know in the input line are the same of the output?
I think they are not the same.
Can someone tell me the exact cables for a the patchbay output.
