Which soft to use for home audio recording?
Hi, I'm sort of new to audio recording and need a bit of adivce as to which soft to use. I tend to record my acoustic guitar and vocals more than anything else, so the main concern is about how the software deals with the audio. So far, I've tried FLoops which I don't like because of its 'plastic' sound and Cubase. With Cubase guitar & vocals sound way better than with FLoops but still somewhat 'flat', short of dynamics compared to the 'raw' sound of my soundcard (SB Audigy 24/96). What software would you guys recommend? Do you feel the same as I do about the way FLoops and Cubase affect the sound?

Suggests to try FlexiMusic Wave Editor for recording vocals, an audio recording and editing software.

If your audio sounds"flat," the first thing I'd check is the microphones (quality and technique used), the pre-amps, and the sound card. The software really shouldn't be affecting the quality of the recording
