There is already a considerable amount of discussion regarding those topics in this forum, have you read them?

Maybe you could get more specific once you read them.

Also do not negate online courses.

aside from checkin the other topics, might I suggest C.R.A.S. (conservatory of recording arts and science) in Tempe, AZ? Good school, never went but know a guy who did and liked it well. Now, I can tell you this from PERSONAL experience, but, a degree wont help you much if you dont have experience. I got into the field about 10 years ago mopping floors and running cables for free at a local studio in exchange for a lil lesson here and there, just interning basically. Thats the best way to learn if you ask me, but Full Sail is good just too damned expensive. C.R.A.S. would be my suggestion.
