Mackie DAW and Pro tools m powered 7

I need help. I am buying some new recording equipment and I need to know if ti is all compatible with eachother.

I already know that the following will work

PRO TOOLS M-POWERED 7
DELTA 10/10 INTERFACE
OCTANE 8 CHANNEL PRE AMP

BUT WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS IF THE MACKIE CONTROL UNIVERSAL IS A COMPATIBLE DAW FOR PRO TOOLS M POWERED 7. If it is not than i know that the project mix i/o is my only alternative for a DAW but i am not sure if it is as good as the Mackie. besides the fact that it has a built in mic pre's and interface.

any help would be great
