phantom power
Can I use mics that need phantom power and mics that don't need phantom power at the same time or will this damage the mics that don't need pp?

I'm assuming you're asking because your mixer only has phantom power on/off for all mic inputs at the same time, and not individual?
In any case, there's no issue unless you're using a mic that's mis-wired,,,, _________________ Bruce Valeriani - Mix Engineer

As long as you do not have any ribbon mikes hooked up to the board when PhP is on.

phantom power
Phantompower is not harmfull to micraphones that do not require it. If a micraphone does not use phantom power it will ignore the signal. This way, you can use a phantom power condenser mic with a dynamic mic at the same time.
