Midi Controller help - soft synths

I just purchased an EMU 49x midi controller. I have the following soft synths installed on my PC: Arturia Aarp 2600, CS-80v, Mini Moog V, Moog Modular V 2, Absythn 3, NI FM7, and NI Prophet 53 (quite the collection). For recording software I'll be using Ableton Live 4, though I also have Acid 4.

Computer Specs: AMD 64 bit 3000+, 1 gig pc 3200 ram, SATA 120 gig hard drive, Realtec AC 97 audio, M-Audio Delta 44 for audio ins/outs.

I have had great success playing all the soft synths with my Emu controller, once I got the latency issue figured out, however ... how in HECK do I assing the 16 knobs and slider on it to parameters on any of the soft synths? The user manual is of little/no help, and I am very new at this. I'd really like to be able to change patches on the synths using my Emu, and also to split the 4 octaves on the controller to play different synths at the same time (with assigned pathces). Also, controlling volume, filters, etc with the knobs would be great.

Any help would be extremely appreciated, thanks in advance icon_smile.gif

Thanks for the Help

Nevermind, answered my own question(s).

Won't share it here though with the silent masses ...

So long and thanks for all the fish.
