audio balancing?
Im not sure how to term it, So when I record the vocals, the signals ofcourse is not constant, I may overclipped it when the vocalists starts to go on the high pitches. So how do I balance the signals? Do I compress it to get it on the same signal level?

Compression
I think what you mean here is that the differing sounds are to have a fairly even level throughout, this is achieved by using a compressor. _________________ Recording Studio Suntans
