choosing the rigth studio condenser microphone help me.

Hi There, Brand new here !

Probable like a few people here, I'me trying the setup my Home studio properly.

Rigth Now the Only missing part of my setup is a good Condenser Microphone. I was always using live microphones (Sure, Audio-technica.)

I am bulding the recording room rigth now, but it's gonna be very small. 10ft x 8ft.

The only thing that I will be recording, is vocals, (pop female voice).

I'm ready to put between 180-550 for a good microphone.

Here's what I have know it may help you helping me ....

- Behringer B2321A STUDIO Monitor
- Fostek VF160ex Audio Workstation
- Mackie Mixer
- M-audio sound card
- Sound Forge, Acid, Cool edit pro.
- microphone <------ (That is where you come in play !!! )

AKG 414 check it. The best thing u will get for recording vocals in your price range. Not that you'll need it but they make great overhead mics too!
