Suggestions
1. forget about the walls and foam.
2. get some speakers rather than headphones.
3. get a big PC you can upgrade easily rather than a laptop
Work with that and see how you go on. _________________ Recording Studio Suntans

those aren't bad programs to get your feet wet , and for the pc you can get most of them free of charge, but he's right u should be buying monitors and headphones.. building gobo's or studio baffles around your work space is not a entirely bad idea except your making the sound too dead .. you need a healthy mix of live and dead end in your mix ... should be dead and foamed in the front (be hind your monitors ) also to the left and right of yourself and monitors and little foam in tha rear of your room..jus put a nice bass trap back there or sumthing ... in my opinon u should start using a prgram called steinburg Nuendo, run that with rewire once your comfortable with reason .. also buy a usb midi controller .. it's a keyboard that is used asa midi control surfice for your virtual snyths .. aight take care good luck
