Under construction recording studio

As usual, two rooms, one for the control room and another where the sessions take place.

As far as I know, I have to make a hole between the walls for the snake cable; where mics are plugged in to the mixer(control room). So, is there any other cables other than the snake cable? All I can think of is another one for headphones(for the vocalist). Or can someone tell me what cables will go through between the walls of the session room and the control room?

I call these "tie-lines", I guess they might be called something else depending on which part of the world you are in. It's better to call them something rather than just cables through the wall.

SO the tie-lines you need are as you mapped out, mic feeds coming in, and monitor feeds for headphone amps going out. You may also want extra tie-lines for sending aditional signals back into the live room.

You may well want to send a feed of the mix in progress back to some loudspeakers, for when the musicians have removed their headphones, for just one example.

Plan your tie-lines well and always always have many more than you currently need to ensure the possibility of expansion. You don't want to be digging them out and making a bigger hole in the future.
