 Metallica drum sound

How does one replicate Metallicas drum sound on "Enter Sandman"?
Specifically the kick and snare, how do you use compression, reverb, gating and Eq to even come close to what you hear on the record?

for the Lars' clicky kick an audix D6 will do the job very nicely, for extra clickyness a boost in 4-6K on the eq will also help you gain that metallica style kick... loads of compression aswell
