schools in indiana

ok. new to the forum, but will hopefully use this as a tool to learn some tips before school. my options for college are: ball state, iupui, and indiana university. i am pretty commited to iu because they are one of the top music schools in the country. ive already been accepted to the college, but still need to get accepted to their school of music. grades are not a problem, but experience may be. i have a protools m powered setup at home and am a new member to the school audio production team Extended Play. but the only real experience i have are my home recordings which are at the moment not close to a submission status. i need to send in a portfolio of my work. any suggestions on the criteria i will be judged by or what i should do on my portfolio? or any recommendations on schools? senior year and it's getting down to crunch time.
