Vocal effect help? (vocoder)
Hey
I was fiddling with a vocoder the other day and I couldn't figure out how to get the sound the guy needed. All that i could do was make a voice sound all robot-y in a bunch of different ways. He wanted the tone of the voice to sound the same, but just the pitch to change.
I worked long and hard to earn a reputation in my college as the TOP-DOG engineer, that bloody thing made me look a fool HAHA. Anyone know what im doin wrong?

Try something like Audacity, (free!)
One of its main effects is pitch change without changing the speed.
