hey guys, im new to the forums and i have a casio ctk-541 midi controller, i got it free. i have reason 3.0 and i want to hook my keyboard up to my computer, but i have no idea what midi cable to get, it seems like theres so many of them

can somebody recommend one for me? i dont need anything crazy professional or anything, but i dont want some cheap thing either.

I think what you need is a MIDI USB interface which then has a USB cable that connects to your computer.

This may not interest you but - I have a 'MIDIman' which your local music store will have, it is quite small and will fit into your hand. I use a Godan MIDI guitar - which connects to a Roland GI 10 MIDI - then to a Korg X5DR for live stuff or for MIDI stuff it connects to the MIDIman. It works a treat.

So I recommend something like that
