Mains Interference in Digital Audio

Can anyone help with my problem? My small digital editing and post-production room is located in the same building as an oil-fired boiler with an electric igniter which periodically kicks in. When it does this (or if I switch the fluorescent lights in the room on) digital record and play functions between my SADiE editor and any other equipment connected to it are momentarily interrupted – the clock unlocks, the audio drops out, and any recording made when this happens will have a pop or crackle on it.
I have tried mains surge protectors and an uninterruptable power supply. Even when this is running off its own battery and the mains is disconnected, the problem is still there so it isn’t mains-borne but must be radio-type interference which somehow breaks through the shielding of digital equipment and connections. The dropouts are worse when recording into SADiE and it’s not running on its internal clock but taking its sync from the digital source. Therefore, the interference seems particularly to disrupt external clock pulses.
Any suggestions or advice gratefully received.
