Church choral microphones
Hi, everybody.
Need an advise about church choral microphones.
It's a big choire, about 50 singers, the church is quite large. We have good sound equipment but can't choose the right microphones.
For now we use shure MX goose neck microphone and we don'tike it. Need something better.
Please advise us which micriophones are best in this case.
Thanks

Look around for an "Omni-directional Condenser Microphone" The microphone you are using is made for a single speaker behind a podium or desk.

omni ridectinal is good, but I think not in this church, because there can be a big feedback. The church is very (!) big and there are lots of boxes around it. So I think cardioid mic can be a good solution. But the mic must be very good (may be even noumann)...
What do you think?
