 Drum Recording Setup.

Hi - I'm a drummer who is looking to get into recording and sound engineering for my drums, and some of my bands tracks. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good quality Preamp and Drum Mic Pack? I don't want to spend too much, willing to spend up to about $800 for the lot. I already have cubase and a PC with firewire.
