SERIOUS Cubase 3 issue.

hi, im running cubase SL3 and alot of times having just recorded a track an error message will pop up once i hit stop and cubase shuts down.

the message reads "An exception occured in the module: Cubase SL 3"
and another follows it reading "The operation Cubase SL quit unexpectedly after it was reopened." but that comes up even before i try to reopen it...

its a very serious issue and i'm not sure if anyone on this forum is or has been dealing with this before...

any help would be great...
thanks in advance

A couple things to look at are you running Windows XP. I have my computer on a schedule to clean up my temp files and also run defrag early in the morning while I'm asleep. Do you have enough memory. Is this computer connected for the internet if it is. Need to scan your computer as often as you can once in a while. I do not run McAfee on my recording computer. Because McAfee tends to slow down the computer. But I use other scanning software like Webroot to scan my computer once a week. And I save all my data on an external drive incase if I have to reformat my primary drive.

Your welcome to email me. I'm currently running Cubase 4 but have use Cubase SX and SX3. So I have a pretty good knowledge of Cubase.
