Reason or Sonar?

Hi
Im building a small home studio and i was just wondering which program is better for me to use, Reason or Sonar? Im doing Hip Hop and my setup will not be very fancy (keyboard, sampler/drum machine, a mic). I have windows Vista on my computer. Im new to the studio concept and i was wondering wich program for me is better to use. If u have any other suggestions please they are more than welcome
Thanks

You might want both programs. Reason is an amazing MIDI sequencing program but it has no capability of recording audio directly into your mix. I would recommend getting an audio program where you can record your vocals and live instruments and then get reason if you want some amazing synths and drum beats. There is amazying sounds in both those categories in Reason but you will need something else to record audio tracks.
