 Touble at the beginning!!!

My M-Audio 61 key controller works fine in reason, but i can't for the life of me configure protools correctly to receive the midi signals.

All i want to do is to is hear my protools session while recording a midi performance from reason.

Do any cables have to go directly from the controller to the mbox?? I'm so confused and stupid.

HELP!!
