8khz tone during playback from the Multitrack

 8khz tone during playback from the Multitrack

I recorded and played back from the multitrack with no problems all day. i took a break and when i returned i started overdubs on the vocals...now i hear an 8khz tone only on the vocal track...the 8khz is only there during playback, its not audible while recording...whats my problem??help please!
