somebody told me that this is a good mixer (behringer mx9000) for its price but i herad good and bad things about it such as burnouts and whatnot. i wanna know a good mixer thats in the 1000-2000 range ideally looking for a 24 track mixer any suggestions such as brands and models im using it in conjuction with acid 6.0 and wavelab and using pci interfaces (another ? is firewall or usb better for real time recording directly to my mixer and monitoring on my cpu)

The Behringers lately have been POS! My Local GC had 7 of 10 DOA right out of the box.
For the price range you are looking at....I'd check out the Yamaha MG32/14FX.
