Help with converting WAV files to MIDI
I need some help here. I have a handful of music files that I need to convert from WAV to MIDI. Any program I've already used doesn't work right. It doesn't convert like its supposed to. It either skips parts, plays the wrong instrument at the wrong time, etc. If someone could help me with this, I'd appreciate it. Point me to a program that converts properly, or something. Thank you.
Or, if you can give me an idea what file type (MP3 for example) would be best to convert from to MIDI. I am trying to make an RPG and I have made custom music for it, but I only have them in WAV format. Any suggestions would be great.

audio to midi
"There is no such thing as a good conversion from audio to MIDI. And not at all with a single mouse click. Some programs allow parametrisations to the experienced user, that may lead to usable results."

Okay, thanks. I guess I kind of figured it'd be too difficult to do since 228 people have looked at my post and only 1 person responded.
BTW...I don't know if you're trying to be cute or just stupid (lol, just kidding) but RPG in my case means Role Playing Game. Take Final Fantasy 7 for an example.

RPG
Does your role play game include rocket propelled grenades? That would be fun!

I'm pretty sure I tried that one already. All it seems to do is make me figure out what instruments are being played and I don't know. I'm not a music expert by any means. The few music files I created, I did by using prefab audio bits from my ringtone maker on my cell phone lol!
