Reverb in Sonar 6

I'm noticing that the majority of my reverb plugins basically convert the incoming signal to mono before processing. The reverb itself is stereo. (I know this is common among hardware reverb as well.) Basically, the sends in Sonar have no affect on the reverb's "direction." That's problematic, especially when I hard-pan things occasionally and want the reverb to the opposite channel to keep it from being dry and/or disorienting, or just add a huge sense of "space" to an instrument or vocal.

So the question is this: Is there a practical way to get control of the panning of my reverb across multiple instruments without having to go through a rediculous number of sends and busses? I can think of one way - using both sends, one to a "right" reverb and another to a "left" reverb. But this provides a challenge if I want anything between center and hard left or right.

Suggestions?
