polar pattern help please
im so confused by polar patterns for my gcse course work i have to write about what polar pattern each mic has can some please tell me which one goes with which mic

I am sure it is in a textbook, or somewhere on the internet. Do some research for your homework!

There are too many microphones to list them all, we'd be here for a week!
However, in order to get started try researching for these "types":
Omni-directional
Bi-directional
Uni-directional (this one breaks down to Cardioid, Hyper-Cardioid and Super-Cardioid)
