If you are having IRQ issues, try the easy first. Install the card in a different PCI slot.

If that does not help, UNINSTALL any other sound drivers, including ones that came with your motherboard. You can do this from the CMOS settings when you first boot your comp.

If that does not work, and you can not change the IRQ manually in the soundcard, find out what is causing the conflict, and change the IRQ in the CMOS if it is a motherboard issue, which 99% of the time it is.

I hope this helped!

re

I been trying with the first two solutions, i' ve been trying changing the pci slot,,, and setting the bios, the only thing that i forget... is to change the SCSI CARD to another PCI slot, and try to set up the PULSAR in this slot...

BUT the others problem is in the choice of the drivers to work.. if i select MME drivers i 've got to forget of monitoring to real time... if i select low latency with this drivers... i've got machine dropouts...
If i select ASIO DRIVERS... i can monitoring from SONAR perfectly, but when i want to monitoring two channels with the same output i've got the same problem that MME drivers, and.....

... in the "hardware settings" in My Computer - Properties... i can't change the setup of the bit depth of the card only can choose 16 BIT.... I think that something i'm doing bad, but this card it's full of troubles....

If someone know how to install the PULSAR 2 in the Windows XP SP2 correctly, please help me....

Thank you vey much Rhone!!!!!

I just did a little research and came across this link http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic.php?forum=5&topic=9880

It seems the people there that have been successful have had to do fresh installs of XP, then install the drivers in a specific order. What a pain in the arse if this is the case!... good luck.

Yep - it is pretty annoying - I had a similar problem when I was installing it in a friends house . Anyway I guess I sort of randomed it and it got working - I guess I must have been lucky that day icon_smile.gif
