How tight is the budget? My first recommendation would be to upgrade your microphone/XLR cable. If you have the money maybe go for a Shure SM86 or 87A and a nice Mogami Gold XLR or possibly a Monster cable (we use both in our studio). That would probably be my first recommendation for upgrade...anyone else have any recommendations on microphones/equipment? What are the specs on your PC btw? We run ProTools M-Powered and get pretty decent sound with a Dual Core AMD 4200+, 4 gig ram , and our Delta 1010 rackmount interface. _________________ Bob Seifert, SEIT

In that case I hope that you're selling good and that your budget isn't that limit. What about your cpu?
