I currently bought a tascam us-122 interface...A MXL 990 Condenser Microphone with Shockmount and i have a pop filter.....sony sound forge,Cubase LE and cool edit pro.................but everytime i record it sounds awful idk but my voice sounds wierd and stuff....i want it to sound professional or at least good http://files.filefront.com/dissmp3/;6244603;;/fileinfo.html

ay bro it sounds like you aint using the right cables try using a noise gate effect on the vocal if that dont work rotate yo cables in keep testing it

is the microphone in the same room as the computer
if so put some foam up and use that noise gate

it sounds like you gettting a lot of hum that noise gate should be able to clean that out i use that cubase noise gate in it cleans out a alot of noise that i dont hear in the speakers you should solo the vocal in add that noise gate play with it tell you hear that sound going away. if that dont work like i said go get better
quality cables.


i gotta friend that got the same interface as you in his shit sound professional and i got that mxl 990 and its a bad ass mic
