How do I remove echo from a recording in Adobe Audition

Hey,
I'm editing a soundclip recorded in a church. The talking/speech got alot of echo on it. Is it possible to reduce this without beeing an expert?

Regards,
NArmenel

No. Even an expert would have a problem removing this.

Once an echo is recorded, (or anything else recorded for that matter) it is impossible to remove it.

Like was said here on more than 1 occasion, you can not unbake a cake.
