need help with bouncing audio tracks in surround ...
hi all,
i have a problem concerning rendering audio tracks in surround.
when i try to render an audio track into a mono file.
let's say i recorded a guitar and want to render the guitar rig into a track and bounce it to a mono wave file.
so when i do this in stereo setup mode in Cubase SX i get the signal and it is as loud as i adjusted the faders. (out it at -1db it also gets -1db at the end in the bounced mono track)
... but when i do the same in surround mode the bounced track seems much softer, the wavefile is definitely not 1db but much softer.
can somebody help me to find the problem?
thanks in advance! _________________ Alex Pfeffer · Composer & Sounddesigner
