DirectX plugin for HQ resampling?

Hello,

Does anyone here know a DirectX plugin for high quality resampling? (in realtime?)

Anyone?

I said "WHAT" because your question makes no sence.

High quality resampling in a DirectX plugin makes no sense?

I say this because all of the major programs (Pro Tools, Cubase, Audition etc you can resample very easily (right click the wave, click "Resample" )

DX plugins are instruments and effects mainly, and because resampling is neither an instrument nor an effect, that is why your q makes no sence.

OK, a scenario:

16-bit source.
I process using DirectX plugins so there's 24-bit in between plugins.
If I resample a 16-bit file in e.g. SF I get a 16-bit output. No dithering, etc.
That is why I would like a DirectX plugin so I can get realtime resampling with minimum losses. (24-bit data)

Take your example...

In Cubase you select the 16-bit wave, go to Audio->Process->Resample. Done.

In PRo-Tools I think it is the same. Not sure for Sonar, but it is very similar.

AFAIK there is no DX plugin that does this, like I said, DX plugins are effects and instruments.

So when resampling this way I get 16-bit output without dithering etc?
Too bad...

When you resample in any of the major programs, you can choose rate, dithering, etc......

Sure, bvut I dont' waht dithering. want 24-bit results for firther procesing.
I will dither at the end of the chain.
That is why DirectX resampling would be nice.
