Newbie needs help with MIDI Controllers

Im looking to expand my keyboard by purchasing a MIDI controller.

Right now I have a Yamaha DGX-500 with midi in/out. I was thinking of purchasing an Evolution MK-461C Midi Controller. The keyboard just has a midi out port. Can i connect the two to use the controller as a second keyboard?

Yes, there are definately ways to do this.

Midi OUT just sends midi information to whatever you want it to. You don't really need a midi IN on a keyboard, unless you want sth to play through the internal module..
