I appretiate any feedback on my song "I Will"

So here is one of my songs in process:

"I Will"

I'd like to know what catches your ear for good or bad.
You'll hear some pops at the beginning. Uploading the track must've
brought them to the service cause I didn't hear them on my hard drive copy.

Anyway, these are some things I'm thinking about so far concerning the song:

-The first chorus is too abrupt. Ride taps are distracting.
-Vocals are too faint throughout the middle of the song, especially towards the climax
-Vocal presentation might be weak at certain points (particularly chorus)
-At 1:04 to 1:26 the electric guitar should be lowered to leave room for the strings.

I know that the vocals need more volume in the mix, but how about the overall presentation?
What am I not hearing in the mix that may make the song better if changed?

I'd really appreciate any feedback. icon_smile.gif
