I think that i can automate external processors, via MIDI, so, why external processors have MIDI ports????

If i am wrong sorry, hehe, but, i think that i'm not so crazy....

not 100% on that

To be honest, I've never tried.
Personally, I don't own any external gear yet. Everything is software for me.

Actually, I think the midi ports are for MTC aren't they? I could be wrong.

re

Of course that are for MTC, but i think that from a MIDI track from a sequencer, i can write notes, and "shoot" actions for such parameters of an external processor, (ie parameter 7 is volume, parameter 10 is pan, and so on). The problem that i have, it is, that i never do this, and i would like to know the steps to follow for a MIDI setup in a mixing session from Pro Tools, but if anyone can help me great, and if not, great too!!!, thanks!!!!

This publication says you can download new models from the Antares website, maybe you will find what you are looking for there. icon_rolleyes.gif
