Speaker positioning method

Speaker positioning method

Could anyone help on how my speakers should be positioned and angled?

Monitors should form an equilateral triangle with your head at the listening position. (ie - if the monitors are 4 feet apart, they should be 4 feet from your ears as well)

Last tip

Hi,

I've followed your instructions and it sounds much better. Could you give me a last tip onthe height, I mean, should monitors be set above my head?

Tweeter just above ear level, or if the speaker is higher - aim it down so the tweeters hit a point just slightly above your ears...

What about laying them side ways with the tweeter on the outside?

Virtually all monitors are NOT designed to work that way (positioned horizonatlly)..... this article describes the problem with that positioning:
