HELP CREATE A CURRICULUM FOR AN ASPIRING STUDENT
My school is currently in the process of creating a music tech program. I will be creating my own for next year as an independent study, and the way I base my curriculum will be modeled for the actual course when it has been approved as well. For me, I would love to go into editing audio for movies or working in a recording studio; I am eager to learn, however, I do not know how to shape the curriculum
HELP!!
P.S. I have backround on using HomeStudio, Sibelius, and have ProTools at my disposal.

Firstly, why do you wish to design a curriculum for self-study if your school is creating one? Why do you not ask the school?
Am I missing something, AV? Which country are you in?
If you search google you will find numerous study plans for numerous music tech schools, in various countries, some will probably interest you and others may well not. _________________ Recording Studio Suntans

The school doesn't really know much and said I was allowed to personalize it to do what I want with the course (audio engineering) but I don't much about it.
I live in the US, AV is for audio/video or audio/visual.

I'm aware of what AV means, I wasn't asking what AV meant, I was using AV in the context of your username.
Regarding a Music Technology syllabus there is one here:
http://www.audiocourses.com/sections-viewarticle-6.html
The first part "Recording Techniques" can be ignored, or included, Music Technology can be a very wide ranging term with a feast of niche sectors. So you'd be best to take any written syllabus with a pinch of salt and construct your own to tie-in with your school, and some of the equipment they may have.
Hope that helps. _________________ Recording Studio Suntans
