 A sample of my music...

Hey, I am writing some music, and trying to get the eq and mixind down better. Could you guys take a listen to this short snippet and tell me how what I can do to improve?? This is not mastered, and it IS mp3 (to save server space), so I am sure there is a loss of sound quality there.
