Hi

I have just joined this forum, having had a good look around, there is a superb amount of information here.

I thought I would introduce myself and my music for comment. I am a hobby songwriter with a semi pro studio setup, and have been writing songs for over 20 years, but it's only been in the last couple of years I have the ability to get some good gear!!

There is more info about me and 3 songs (latest called "Shade of Green" that I'd be interested in your comments on.

Hi - I have updated 3 of my tracks on my website based on information obtained on this forum. I have purhased "Mixing with your Mind", "Mastering Audio" by Bob Katz, and also invested in some new Mackie HR824 monitors. On "Shade of Green" and "Memories Like These", I have re-recorded the acoustic guitar via microphone, instead of using the piezo pickup and the results, to my ear, are significantly better all round. I have also re-recorded the drums for Memories Like These.

"Sniper" has been remixed though listening on my new monitors.....they are awesome. When I listened to the orignal mix that was done on my previous Spirit Absolute Zeros the mix issues become so obvious they basically slapped me in the face!

I'd be very interested in any comments on these 3 tracks. The original Shade of Green track is at the bottom of the song list for reference and comparison.
