Recording Setup

I 've borrowed a Boss MM-5 mixer and a Behringer DI-100, now does the mixer do the job of the DI box or do i need it too..if then in what order?
Guitar->Di box>Mixer>PC or
Gutar->Mixer ->DI box-> PC
I can take care of the effects on the PC
????

The mixer should take care of the DIing so...

Guitar->mixer->computer

However, if you would like to, you can also use the Di before the mixer, you may like the way it sounds better.

Guitar->DI->mixer->computer

No - I don't know of ANY mixer that handles DI... that's what DI boxes were invented for - Direct Inject INTO a mixer (or other line-input)........
