You've got things quite a bit backwards, I'm afraid....
No production should EVER be taking place with MP3s... MP3s are a lossy audio data format designed to save filespace at the expense of sound quality, so it is only a deliivery format, not a format suitable for any type of production.
You want to be working with WAVs or AIFFs during production, and when you've completed mixing and mastering, you make an MP3 of the final mastered WAV file. _________________ Bruce Valeriani - Mix Engineer

Blue Bears right you should get the best sounding clips to start with it'll save ya crap load of probs down the road. If you have to use Mp3 though I believe most of the higher end audio editers (Wave Lab, Sound Forge, Ect.) can convert Mp3's to wave but unless your after a Lowfi-Trashy sound I'd try to start with the original wave. _________________ That is not dead which can not die and with strange eons even death may die.....
