What Waveform Editing do you know?

Any Waveform editing tricks?

What is a Waveform Montage?

How to Make Waveform Envelopes? Which do you do? or know about?

You use the splice tool. I don't use ProTools but DAWs have a splicing tool or a scissor tool. It's not hard in fact very easy, you simply cut the part where you like into chunks then move the chunks to places you want.

You can apply a "fade in" and "fade out" to the edits also for the ADSR, along with gain changing any part of it.

You seem to be very new to this world, are you?

use a gate and compressor. A gate allows signal to "pass through the gate" when it reaches a certain level. a compressor levels off the amplitude when it reaches a certain level. You can play with the "attack" and "release" controls on each of these to change the acoustic envelope.

Example:
let's say you have a kick drum sound on one track. You think it has too much attack or too much "snap." Give the gate a slow attack, and viola, the transient on the waveform that gives the sound that "snap" is lessened and you hear more of the "thump."

or if you have an instrument like a bass guitar that dies off too quick, you can lengthen its sustain by using the compressor with a long release.

attack and release times
